This privacy notice explains how Baby Gear Bulgaria collects and uses information when you contact us, send a booking request, rent baby or child travel equipment, or communicate with us about a service.

1. Who we are

Baby Gear Bulgaria provides baby and child travel equipment rental in Bulgaria, including items such as strollers, newborn carry cots, car seats, boosters and other travel-related child equipment by arrangement.

2. What information we collect

We collect only the information needed to respond to enquiries, check item suitability, arrange delivery, manage bookings and meet legal or accounting requirements.

Contact details: name, email address, phone number, WhatsApp contact and preferred language.

Booking details: requested items, rental dates, delivery and return location, hotel, Airbnb, airport or agreed meeting point.

Child fit details: child age, height and weight where needed to confirm a suitable item, especially for car seats, boosters or other size-dependent equipment.
•
Vehicle details: vehicle make, model, year and ISOFIX/seat-belt information where needed to check car seat compatibility.
•
Payment and deposit details: rental amount, deposit amount, payment status, refund status, invoice details and transaction references. We do not ask for or store full card details on this website.
•
Messages and support records: messages sent by email, WhatsApp, Google Forms or other channels used to handle the request.

3. Why we use this information

We use the information for practical service reasons only. For example, a child’s age, height and weight may be needed to check whether a car seat, booster, stroller or other item is suitable. Delivery location details are needed to arrange handover and return.

To respond to enquiries

We use your contact and request details to answer questions, confirm availability and provide a quote.

To provide the service

We use booking, child fit, vehicle and delivery details to arrange the correct item and handover.

To handle payment and records

We use payment, deposit and invoice information to manage the booking and meet accounting obligations.

4. Our legal basis for using your information

Depending on the situation, we rely on one or more of the following lawful bases:

Contract or steps before a contract: to respond to your booking request, confirm the right item, arrange delivery, take payment, manage the deposit and provide the rental service.

Legal obligation: to keep accounting, invoice and tax records where required.

Legitimate interests: to keep basic service records, prevent misuse, resolve disputes, protect the business and improve the booking process.

Consent: only where we specifically ask for it, for example for optional marketing or testimonials. You can withdraw consent at any time.

5. Google Forms and third-party services

We may use Google Forms to collect booking requests. The form is used only to collect the information needed to respond to your request, check item suitability, arrange delivery and manage the booking. The same privacy principles apply whether you contact us through the form, email or WhatsApp.

We may also use email, WhatsApp, payment providers, hosting providers and accounting tools to operate the service. These providers process information only as needed for communication, payment, delivery, record keeping or website operation.

6. Children’s information

We do not collect children’s information for marketing. Child-related details such as age, height and weight are requested only when needed to check whether a product is appropriate, especially for car seats, boosters, strollers or other size-dependent equipment.

This information should be provided by a parent, guardian or adult responsible for the booking.

7. How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, unless a longer period is required for legal, accounting, tax or dispute-resolution reasons.

Unconfirmed enquiries: normally up to 12 months, so we can respond to follow-up questions and understand demand.

Completed bookings: normally up to 5 years where needed for service history, complaints, disputes or business records.
•
Invoices, accounting and tax records: up to 10 years where required by Bulgarian accounting and tax record-keeping obligations.

Marketing consent records: until consent is withdrawn or the record is no longer needed.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it where practical.

8. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information only where needed with:

service providers used for forms, email, messaging, payment, hosting or accounting;

delivery or handover support where needed to complete a booking;

professional advisers, accountants or authorities where legally required;

payment providers to process payment and deposit transactions.

9. International services

Some providers we use, such as Google or messaging/payment services, may process data outside Bulgaria or the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards and terms offered by those providers for lawful data processing and transfer.

10. Your rights

Depending on the situation, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent where consent is used.
